My Story
Hello, my name is Jordan.
I am a Master’s-qualified Play Therapist and Master’s-qualified Developmental Educator, and a professional member of Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated (DEAI).
I am deeply passionate about supporting children and their families to nurture mental health, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful connection. My work is grounded in collaboration, respect for neurodiversity, and a strong belief in the power of play as a therapeutic and developmental tool.
I bring a broad range of tertiary qualifications and extensive experience, allowing me to work holistically with families to identify goals, build capacity, and support each child’s unique strengths and needs. I offer individual play therapy, family and parent work, and group programs within my clinic, as well as outreach support to schools, organisations, and community settings.
I am a trained facilitator of the Learn to Play Therapeutic Child Play program, a Certified LEGO®-Based Therapy Practitioner, and an experienced facilitator of group workshops including Peaceful Kids and Girl Power Workshops Australia. I have also completed further training in AutPlay Therapy, a neurodiversity-affirming play therapy approach designed specifically to support autistic and neurodivergent children, as well as training in conducting Functional Capacity Assessments to assist families navigating systems such as the NDIS.
More recently, I have stepped into the role of author, writing the neuro-affirming children’s book Uniquely You, Uniquely Me, which celebrates diversity, identity, and the strengths of neurodivergent children alongside their peers.
My practice is grounded in compassion, evidence-informed approaches, and a commitment to creating safe, inclusive spaces where children and families feel understood, supported, and empowered.
