My Story
During my provisional psychology internship, I gained over four years of experience supporting both NDIS and private clients across a range of presentations. I also worked as a Senior Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, supporting individuals presenting with complex and challenging behaviours. In this role, I conducted behavioural assessments to identify the underlying functions of behaviours of concern and developed proactive and reactive intervention strategies to support positive outcomes.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, and value strong collaborative relationships with clients, families, support staff, schools, and healthcare professionals. My practice is inclusive and welcoming of individuals who identify as neurodivergent, LGBTIQA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, and from diverse cultural backgrounds.
My therapeutic approach is flexible, creative, and tailored to each individual’s needs, preferences and goals. I draw on evidence-based therapies, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT).
Through a trauma-informed and neuroaffirming lens, I support clients experiencing a wide range of presenting concerns, including (but not limited to):
